She Now Has Three Wins But Still Needs Points.
Big Bark Bobbiesue is beginning to feel right at home at Border Beagle Club. She won the Border 13 female class today for the second year in a row. Bobbiesue is owned by Art and Anthony Braun, members of Grand Lake Beagle Club in Ohio. She was handled to the win by Ohio handlers, Paul & Linda Edwards. The win was the third of her career. She still needs points to finish for her AKC Championship. There were 27 females in the class yesterday. Michigan beagler, Ed White owned Bobbiesue last summer when she won Border. He sold her to the Brauns last fall,
According to judge, Del Fawver, "Bobbiesue was the best of four very good hounds that placed in the class." Bobbie Sue was back high and beat her brace mate in second series on a rabbit down a path. Later she defeated Stones Mary Ann in the cover in third series to take home the trophy and blue ribbon. Mary Ann had moved up into the second spot on the strength of a fine second series performance in the third brace.
Stones Danielle finished third. Gene Stone owns both her and her sister, Stones Mary Ann. Another sister, Cougar Ridge Annie Blue, received an NBQ. They are both from a very good liter. According to Gene Stone and Kim Schrotenboer there are four pups that are all participating in licensed trials. Kim has another sister he likes called Omena Cleveland. Willy Neiwenhuis has a male that was back high during the recent Fort Wayne licensed trial.
The weather varies between over cast and sunny for most of the day and the storm that hit the area held off until the gallery had reached the clubhouse after fourth series. Then the rain came down.
