Paul Sizemore, President of the Midwestern Federation, reported last night that beaglers are really enjoying themselves at Rolling Fork Beagle Club. "The club is in immuculate shape, there are rabbits everywhere and everyone is having fun. The derbies were up twenty entries in the 13" classes over last year," said Sizemore.
Rolling Fork Beagle Club is in Cecelia, Kentucky. The Midwestern chose to move their federation event from Chicago Beagle Club in Illinois last year. It appears that the decision has been a big hit with the beaglers. According to Russ Arend there are beaglers present from 17 states and Canada at the trial this year.
A banquet was held last night. There were 100 people present. $2700,00 was raised for the Midwestern Federation. Regarding the Midwestern Sizemore in conclusion said, "I haven't seen this many people in years at the Midwestern. The club members at Rolling fork have really done a super job at promoting this event as the new home of the Midwestern. It looks like we will be here for many years,"
