I cant believe its March already.thats Southern Month for us! Yep, time for the Southern Federation and our annual trek cross the mountain into LaFayette GA to meet and greet great beagle friends!
Unfortunately, due to my Mothers health, Doc and I will not be coming this year. Hes been coming for 40+ years and I have been for the 22 years we have been married.we so regret missing everyone and getting to climb those running ground hills.and the banquet, always a hoot! I truly wish Doc would take the time and come on overbut he says no; he has truly been a great help and support.
But, I know you all understand about caring for family. This is the part of the golden years of life that is the darkest.but with good friends and the Good Lordwe will get through this as well. I am just glad Mother is comfortable as we finally have pain meds in control. Goodness, what a great attitude my Louisiana Cajun, born & bred steel magnolia hasshe keeps me perked up!
We hope things will be better by mid-April and we can attend the MidWesternwere still planning on it.
Thanks for calls, emails and prayersyou beagle buddies are the best! Enjoy the Southern and have a beer for Doc!!
