With deep sorrow I share the following email with you:
Larry, it is with a heavy heart that I'm writting to you and my fellow beaglers. My son Chuck Pope is back in the hospital in Pitt County. His cancer has come back. He was just getting over it for a total of 3 months. Now it is in his spine and brain. They will start to treat him all over again starting next week.
He was looking forward to coming to the Mid Dixie. Now that has been put on hold. He is still thinking of beagling because he keeps saying maybe one day he will be able to have his own good Field Champion.
Maybe one day he will. We are still wanting him to get better so he can rejoin his friends in the beagling world. He has had cancer since he was 24 and now he is 26. It is so sad to see this happen to somebody this young having to battle cancer. Once again make sure that if you can please pray for him for he needs it now more than ever.
