Ottawa River opened with 9 13" Males, judged by Rob Dillon and Jimmy Sanders and 7 15" Males, judged by Steve Redmon and Larry Williams. After the 13" Males were completed we went out with the 15" Males and completed first series and came in for lunch.
After lunch there were 6 males called back for 2nd Series as follows:
1st Brace-Yellow Sand Mike and Barton's Chase;
2nd Brace-Trink-A-Line Chuck-E and Swamp Town Wayno;
3rd Brace-Trink-A-Line E-Z(D-1) and Yellow Sand Marty(D-2)
The 2nd Brace was moved to the top and Owner and Handler, Mike Perry was a very happy man and called his partner, Basil Minor to give him the good news. Chuck-E had 3 Wins and needed 6 points for his Field Champion title. He went out in style with his 4th Win. Owners, Mike Perry and Basil Minor were also the Breeders of Chuck-E and they were certainly happy and proud of their new Field Champion. Trink-A-Line Chuck-E is sired by FC Old Style Spice Hunter and his dam was FC S&J's Short Stuff, who they had bought off of Paul and Linda Edwards and finished.
We thank Ruie and Dale Bettinger, Linda and "Snuffy" Edwards, Ray Lubinski for the great meals morning, noon and night. If you went away hungry, it was your own fault. We thank Milly Williams for her help during the trial.
Congratulations Owners/Breeders, Mike Perry and Basil Minor on your new Field Champion, Trink-A-Line Chuck-E!
