It now appears that there will be some changes in the dates of the first three spring federations.
The Midwestern Federation will become the first federation and will start March 21, 2014. The second federation will be the Mid-Dixie which will start on April 5, 2014. The third federation will be the Heartland which will start on April 19, 2014.
This re-arrangement gives more time between federations.
The host club of the Midwestern, Rolling Fork, has expanded their running round by approximately 10 acres.
As far as I know the other three federations will remain unchanged.
On a personal note, I hope the International will reconsider a proposal to permit derbies that did not run at a winners stake to compete at the International by paying a larger entry fee.
