We ran our first derby classic at Central Jersey Beagle Club on Dec.7th 2014. We had a total of 15 hounds. All the derbies showed a lot of promise and possibly in their Futurity year be Champions. Rabbits came really good and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. There was a lot of kidding around and joking about how the dogs were running. Breakfast was done by Fred Eurick Jr. with lunch by Karen Eurick and desert by Karen Bowers. We would like to keep this going and maybe have some more support. Ed Henry would have been with us but he's recovering from a heart attack. He is home now though. The top producing sires from this trial are FC. Surefoot Little James and Close Call Connor (tied) for top spot then FC Indian Trail Medicine Man with a tie between FC Omena Robinson, FC Settle Line Big Red, Bell Vue Sam-L, and Bee Lick Braveheart. As far as we know a good time was had by everyone and we would like to invite everyone back next year.
