Congratulations Owners, John Johnson/Wayne Plemmons/Russ Arend and Handlers, Bob and Lynette Coil on new Field Champion Mark-A-Way Shira!
Port City closed with 9 15” Females and 9 13” Females. The 15” Females were run to completion and then everyone had lunch and the 13” Females were run to completion. Judges Bob Idalski and Garry Marlow brought back 6 13” Females for 2nd Series as follows:
1st Brace-Nejan Farm Miley and Grass Lake Grace
2nd Brace-Mark-A-Way Shira and Grass Lake Pistol Annie
3rd Brace-Woodlake Amy(D-3) and Woodlake Sweetheart(D-1)
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned and the high brace lost their rabbit so they were dropped. 3rd Series was Grass Lake Pistol Annie and Woodlake Sweetheart and that was field trial.
Mark-A-Way Shira had her wins and needed less than 9 points for her Field Champion Title. When she won Port City that was her 4th Win and she wanted her owners to be proud. John Johnson was a happy man when he received that call while he was on vacation. Mark-A-Way Shira was sired by Big Oaks Shiloh and her dam was Mark-A-Way Kristy. Breeder/Owner, Wayne Plemmons looks forward to Shira coming back home to North Carolina.
Congratulations One and All and May you have Future Success!
