It is with a heavy heart to tell the passing of Preston Skipper (79) of Ellenboro N.C. He is survived by his wife and two sons and a daughter. He was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church.

Skip was a member of Lure and Brushy Mtn. Beagle Clubs. He was known as a great bird dog trainer along with the training and handling field trial beagles. Finishing several beagles bearing the " Skipper" kennel name. His most notable training accomplishment was with FC Skippers Lady Logan.

Preston Skipper was a fierce competitor, yet showed true sportsmanship. A man of character. He left behind a lot of beagling friends and great memories. We said our good bye's last Friday night and told him "See you on the other side".

Rest in Peace my friend.
