We received the news from Karen Eurick that Brace Beagling has lost an ICON, past member of Central Jersey, a very dear and sweet friend, mother, grandmother, aunt and loving wife to Carl Folk through the years and past handler, Sara Folk who turned 103 in September.  Her heart gave out this morning and she will rest in peace with her husband Carl in Pennsylvania.

Sara and her late husband, Carl handled 15" females for many years, especially in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New England Beagle Clubs. Sara and Carl's Kennel Name was Airco Beagles and they were always a force to reckon with when they arrived at a trial with their string of dogs. Carl and Sara were a true inspiration through the years and many memories and good times are cherished with them.  Sara always had a smile on her face and anybody who visited can testify how she always made you feel at home.  She had a good life and made many friends and hopefully some of us can have many good years as Sara did.  After they stopped handling, Sara continued to start pups until around her 100th birthday.  Sara Folk is truly an ICON and will be remembered through our memories, good times and will live on in our hearts.

Thank You for all you taught many of us and proving one can live over a Century.  Your strength, courage, love, dedication, grace and dignity has been a true inspiration to so many of us.  When I think of our dear Sara--It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them.  When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

May God grant your family and friends all they need to get through this
