The trail started today when the 15" females ran. It was cold early in the morning with lots of wind but by second series the wind has subsided and the temperature hit 70 degrees. Several braces had trouble running in first series when the cold front passed and the wind came up. They especially had trouble on tghe cross paths.

Yellow Sand Tiger won the 15" male classs today putting on outstanding runs in both first and second series. The win was the second in a row and number three overall for Tiger. He won Southern Michigan last Thursday. He is owned and was handled by Ray Lubinski. He still needs points to finish for his championship.
John said the weather was beautiful without frost in the morning and the temperature in the mid-sixties in the afternoon.

John reported this evening that the trial ended today with a beautiful day just like it was yesterday. "We had plenty of rabbits and all the winners were nice solid hounds."
Clark kCounty ended their four days of trials with 89 total entries. They are now looking forward to November when Clark County and Lima run back to back with the female and males classes. Mark your calande for Friday, November 19 when Lima Runs both classes of bitches followed the following day by Clark County running both classes of bitches. The males will follow suit the following to days in the same order as the bitches. It should make a fine extended weekend of beagling for everyone.All Four days of trials will be held at the Clark county Beagle Club.
