Carbon Beagle Club held their licensed trial under beautiful fall like weather. In fact their was a light frost as one approached the club this morning. The weather was a big relief after many weeks of hot weather. I think everyone including the dogs were ready for this. The club had a good supply of rabbits and good help in the field. Chef Rick Labish did a great job with the meals.
Judges for the trial were John Lewis on 13" and 15 " females and 15" males; Blair Faust on 13" males and the both 15" classes and Jerre Houck on both 13" classes. History was made Tuesday at the running of the 13" male class when Del Hart Red Revenue won the class to finish becoming C C Molly B's 17th Field Champion, This breaks the record held by the great producing Field Champion bitch, Pearson Creek Countess. Congratulations to Bob Hartman, owner of Red Revenue and C C Molly B.
