We thank Purina for feeding the hounds.
We thank our judges Bob Kimber and Jack Hancock for judging the 13" and 15" Female Classes. For our first day and second day it was sunny and warm. After 2nd Series the 3rd brace went to the top and they had real nice winners. We miss Danny Williams who had shoulder surgery and was unable to judge the male classes so Bob Kimber and Jack Hancock filled in for him (See Danny, it took two men to replace you)! 15" Males were judged by J.J. Olenick&Bob Kimber and 13" Males were judged by J.J. Olenick&Jack Hancock. Our last day brought high winds and heavy rain. We had a total of 59 entries. We missed John Haley not being able to be with us. He is in Rehab and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Hope to see you soon!
We thank handlers, Bob and Lynette Coil for supporting our trial. We thank everyone who attended our trial and supported us. The rabbits were great and we are grateful to the marshals, brush beaters, path watchers, and cart drivers. Above all, we want to thank Melanie Floyd and her kitchen crew for all the great meals and suppers they supplied. If you missed us this year, please put us on your schedule for next year. You won't regret it as Mike and Melanie really out do themselves as hosts. You just can't beat their hospitality. They put on a steak supper with all the trimmings on Saturday night.
Congratulations Russ Arend on new Field Champion South Mt. Nook who finished on Monday in the 15" Male Class.
