Lanco Beagle Club Licensed Trial

Lanco held their second trial of the year September 27-29 at the Maryland Beagle Club. The weather was great for three days, cool mornings and warm afternoons. Running was tough as it has been the the last several weeks in this area. We had a total of fifty six hounds. We thank Ben Smith from North Carolina for judging our trial along with Don Hall, Twiggy Welch and Barry Hook. It was good to see both Paul Davis and Bobby Hartman spend some time with us at the trial. Paul spent the day and saw it bitch get a second place in the 15" bitch class. Bobby spent spent some time after the trial on Friday with a group on Maryland side porch.
Sue Baumgardner served her fine meals. Purina fed the hounds.
The members of the Lanco Beagle club would like express our appreciation to the Maryland Beagle club and its members for permitting us to hold our trial on their grounds.
