Ottawa River had everything ready for their license trial.  We opened with a Combined Male Class of 18, then 15 13" Females and 10 15" Females for a total of 43 hounds under judges Bart Hofherr and "Red Fox", Ken Geradot.  We thank them for stepping up to the plate and filling in for Greg and Karen Phillips who had to cancel.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Greg and Karen, as she starts her battle against lung cancer.

Purina was fed at the trial

It was good to see Dale Bettinger and we miss Ruie.  She would have been proud of Dale and Joanne doing breakfast and Robin and her family, Joanne doing lunch and supper.  Ray and Joanne did their Hobo dinner on Saturday night.  They did an outstanding job and hope they continue.  It was a feast fit for a king and Joanne out did herself on all the desserts.  Thanks for stepping up to the plate and as Dale said, Ruie is proud of all of you.

We thank Dale Bettinger, Ray Lubinski and Bill Reilly for marshaling the classes, our brush beaters and path watchers.  We thank Ray and Bill for bringing carts so the dogs could get to the field.  This was Ottawa River's first for a two day license trial and it was a success.  Congratulations and thanks to everyone who made it a success and supported us.

Congratulations Owners, John Edwards and John Johnson and Handlers, Bob and Lynette Coil on New Field Champion Shur-Good Sandy!  Congratulations to All the Winners and Placed hounds!
