SOUTHERN MICHIGAN LICENSE TRIAL

Southern Michigan opened with 6 13" Males under Judges, Jim Garard and Mike Heminger which ran to completion and 10 15" Males under Judges, Marty Parker and Steve Redmon on a hot and humid summer day for the last day of summer. The 15" Males were run to completion and then everyone had lunch. We closed with 20 13" Females under Judges, Jim Garard and Mike Heminger and 24 15" Females, under Judges, Marty Parker and Steve Redmon for a total of 60 hounds on another hot and humid day of summer. We really appreciate them making the drive and doing our trial. THANK YOU EVERYONE Who Came and Helped make our trial a success.

We thank Brian Bovee, Dan Crawford and Bob Keating for doing breakfast and Brian Bovee, Lloyd Potts and Milly Williams for a great lunch and supper. Danny and Milly Williams put on their ham and bean soup, cornbread and sides Wednesday night for everyone who came in and stayed. Brian and Janet Bovee, put on a nice lunch and we thank Milly and Lloyd Potts for helping. On Saturday night Milly Williams put on her fried chicken dinner, mashed potatoes, gravy, salads, broclie and desserts. We thank Kim Williams, Brian and Janet Bovee for helping and clean up. They all did a super job!

We Thank Larry Williams and Rob Dillon for marshaling the classes, Danny Crawford for driving the dog wagon, Danny Williams taking care of the 13" Females, the other cart drivers, brush beaters and path watchers for helping us have a successful trial. We thank those that donated salads and desserts and helped in any way they could. It is nice to have our yearly visitors, Archie and the Keatings with us again this year, as well as Jo MacCrae and her son. We thank John, Chuck, and R.D. for making the trip from Loveland for the last day of males and the females today.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Karen Phillips on her surgery and Sharon Nixon with her surgery. We miss you guys but are praying for full recovery for you both! Sharon Nixon is now home recuperating and hopefully have a full recovery.
