The Cherryville-Pee Dee River Double-Header was hosted by Indian Beagle Club, Vale, NC, October 9-11, 2019.
Weather was pleasant but extremely dry. Rabbits came easy and each days running was completed by early to mid-afternoon.
Judges Mickey and Lana Johnson, Bill Pope, Richard Sluder, Don Phillips, and John Edwards gave the hounds ample opportunity to show their stuff resulting in quality winners in each class,. Dwight Miller field marshalled five classes and operated a wonder pole the entire trial.
Judy Proctor fed beaglers and PURINA fed hounds.
Sunshine Helen's Majik owned by Helen Casavant and Russ Arend finished in the Pee Dee River little male class.
Thank you to all that came, ran dogs, shagged rabbits or watched strips, transported dogs and handlers to the field etc.
